Hall of Fame Luncheon

CBN-MC held its 11th Annual Youth Coaches Hall of Fame Luncheon on April 22, 2010 at the Georgetown Prep Hanley Center.

The Honorees for 2010, Michael Crilley - Blessed Sacrament, Gil DiGoia - St. Elizabeth, and Jack Railey - Blessed Sacrament, have a combined volunteer youth coaching resume in excess of fifty years and have left an indelible mark on the youth of Montgomery County through their efforts.

The featured speaker, Jimmy Patsos, head basketball coach at Loyola University, entertained more than 150 guests with humorous recollections of his career as a college player and coach.

April 2010 Breakfast
Due to scheduling conflicts we did not have a speaker this month. Instead we held a "Super Networking" event. Besides the usual networking time prior to sitting down for breakfast, we took extra time during breakfast to exchange business cards and become better acquainted with our fellow members and guests. After everyone at each table had a chance to explain what they do in detail, we all got up and went to a different table, and networked with a new group of members and guests. Feedback has been very positive, the only complaint being "I didn't bring enough business cards!"
